When we consider the idea of a covenant, we usually think about contracts,
but God's covenant with us is more than a contract or legal agreement. God
is a God of covenant; throughout the biblical witness, covenant is the
prevailing way through which God encounters God's people. During this Lenten
season, let us consider the biblical concept of covenant and what it reveals
to us about our relationship with this covenant-making God.

"Considering Covenant" is a series being offered during the
8:45 Traditional service in the Sanctuary during the season of Lent.
